As the Belgian distributor of UNO, we can present the following innovations:

Euthanasia system for IVC cages
With this system, a cage from an IVC rack can be placed directly in the euthanasia system without having to remove the filter top and the wire lid. A very efficient and easy system to use.
Euthanasia system for mouse pups
Because mouse pups / neonates up to 10 days old are less resistant to hypoxia, CO2 euthanasia is not the best choice. Together with a breeder, UNO has developed a system that is suitable for these mouse pups / neonates.
Isoflurane filter with integrated scale
The scavenger unit has been developed because we have seen that in many animal facilities where inhalation anesthesia procedures are performed, the filters are often not weighed. With the Scavenger unit you can never forget this; the filter is weighed automatically. With this device, the user first receives a visual alarm and after some time an audible alarm if the Actisorb Adsorption Filter needs to be replaced because the adsorption capacity is (almost) being used.
