FunnelCath™ for mice is another innovation from Solomon Scientific. The challenge was to have a very small catheter for intravascular placement in mice (and rats) while providing a way to connect the catheter to an infusion pump. The solution is FunnelCath™, a single PU tube which tapers from the proximal end (connecting to 22g or 25g connector) to a very small (1.2F or 2F) intravascular distal end.
