This adaptor is the standard part of stereotaxic instruments. It holds the rat brain firmly by incisor, nose lip and a pair of ear bars. It has a 30mm vertical adjustable range with 100μm accuracy along the dovetail slide, 50mm horizontal range, which can fix rats of various weights.
