Brain Matrix
Only available in Belgium
Brain matrixes are made of durable stainless steel, which can be heated, chilled, autoclaved and scrubbed. It can be used for dissect fresh or fixed mice or rat brains and get reproductible sections. Each section can be as thin as 0,5mm or 1mm. Coronal matrixes have a agittal mid-line to split the left and right hemispheres.
The olfactory/spinal/notch is cut into each matrix. The mouse brain matrix is also suitable for the neonatal rat brain.
