High Precision Stereotaxic Instrument/ MRI compatible Frames

This stereotaxic instrument, used on small animal is derrived from the M medical device series and has been modified so as to ease the use of stereotaxis Atlas (De Groot, König & Klipel, Albe Fessard...). Themodification allows to give a tilt for the reference plan. For a higher accessibility to the operating area, the device is equipped with a vertical axis for complete rotation. The system can accept upto middle size cats. Extended bars and forks can be added to operate on the spinal cord. The incisor bar can be moved to ease the use of non standard Atlas. The sytem is therefore raised to provide greater accessibility when placing the animal.
The micro-injector and micromanipulator can be motorized and remote controlled.
A connection with a serial link RS232/USB allows the system to be PC driven.
All positioning data are available on the computer screen and can be displayed on the remote control too.
A memory card can store the user’s program.
Micro-Injector and micro-manipulator are compatible with other manufacturers stereotaxic equipment.
Manual- or electronic (PC-controlled) manipulation of the X,Y and/or Z Axis and of the micro-injector.
Even with manual manipulation, the accuracy of 10μ is possible for the position of the 3 axis.
Universal Micrometer
This stereotaxic instrument, with three motorized axles, anasthesia mask and moving up and down table is specially designed to work with mice and rats.

Dual Manipulator System
This equipment is designed to be fixed, with an appropriate adaptor, on the head of the animal.
Each micro-manipulator allows independent positions of micro-sensors, cannula or other catheter, with a minimum distance of 1mm, in accordance with OX, OY axes.
Injection Table
This table makes easy a lot of injections for sample of small rats or mice before softly anesthetized. The localization of injection is measured by the table.
The animal positioning and holding are optimized.
Three Axles Hinge
This three axles hinge is able to operate on OX, OY, OZ axis and angle of ± 45?.
Adjustable Table
This table allows immobilizing animal legs. It is possible to adjust the table for different animal sizes. The fastening of legs is easy and fast, without traumatism for the animal. The board is mounted on a hinge. So it’s possible to adjust the table in any position, with a 25? angle.
Electronic (or manual) micro-injector with universal micrometer.
This MIM20 software with remote control allows separate control of motorized micro-injector and micro-manipulator. Programs are stored in the memory board.
Unity counter values are displayed on remote control so it is easy for operator to follow operation in progress.
Hamilton syringe flow:
1μl, 5μl, 10μl or 50μl with 1nl/s of minimum flow.
Micro-injector can be installed on the “3 axles hinge” to perform slanting injections.
Micro-injetor can be delivered in two versions: manual or motorized.
Forks for spinal cord
Forks are installed on forks holder
The whole system allows moving on two axes (x, Y) and one rotation degree.
The forks immobilized rats and mice spinal column.
Installed on forks holder, this fork provides three axes moving X,Y, Z and one rotation degree.
Stereotaxic frames for pigs, sheep, rabbits, primates, cats and pigeons are also available.
