Large Animal Stereotaxic Instruments

The parallel-rail Stereotaxic Instrument has all the features of the standard Stereotaxic Instruments (such as 3-D position). It is applicable to most large laboratory animals with different adaptors.
Specifications
- Adaptors available for use with most kinds of dogs, primates and pigs.
- The parallel-rail frame is very stable and flexible, and can be fixed to the base plate or workbench.
- The unique design of the jaw plate gives a better stabilization of the head of large animals with various weights.
- With the unique swivel stand, the rail can rotate 360° freely, for manipulation from various angles.
- Six manipulator arms can be conveniently installed on the two parallel rails, thus multiple operations can be independently conducted for one animal in one surgery.
- Working distance for the rails: 200mm (-100mm ~ +100mm) with 0,1mm accuracy.
- With standard 2-dimensional manipulators, it can rotate 180° in the vertical direction and 360° in the horizontal direction.
- All the readings on the manipulators and rails using verniercaliper readings and resolution 100μm.
- Combined with the microdriver, the resolution of the vertical reading 10μm.
