Stereotaxic Instruments use a three-dimensional coordinate system to locate small targets in the brain, which help researchers do minimally invasive surgery in the neuroscience field, such as ablation, lesion, injection, stimulation and imaging etc. Based on its multifunction, it is widely applied in generating animals models such as Parkinson’s desease, Epilepsy, Cerebral ischemia and Intracerebral Neoplasm etc. With the development of stem cell research, transplantation of stem cells, neural stem cells or their diffentiated progenitors/
neurons into brain certain areas also depend on the accuracy of the stereotaxic surgery.

- Adaptors available for use with rats, mice, birds, cats, dogs, monkeys, rabbits, geckos, guinea pigs and other species.
- Working distance for each 3-dimension is 80mm width
- precise alignment to 0,1mm resolution.
- Vertical direction: 180° rotation and lock at any angles.
- Horizontal direction: 360° rotation and lock at any angles.
- Laser engraved scales, darken rod and open U-shape frame make numerals easy to read.
- Dual-lead screws ensure stable and accurate manipulation.
- Maintain accuracy and flexibillity at different temperatures.
- The surface of base of frame are coated with manufacturer applied treatment that resists stains and wearing.
- Available the extended base plate (400mm x 255mm) for various animals.
- The unique anti-clockwise mark engraved in the knob signifying vertical operation.
- Vertical lock and fixing knob are separated to ensure accurate position at any angle.
- Precise designed the lateral rotation operating space, the distance between knob and the Ushaped frame is 28mm.
- Curve design of nose clamp secures the head of the animals more steady.
- Use plate pressing rather than clamping in locking the Ear bar, to ensure stability.
- Syringe pump, microcamera and drill can be attached to the Stereotaxic instruments directly.
